Morocco: The General Manager networks with her partners

The General Manager’s working visit to Casablanca (Morocco) was an opportunity to liaise with partners based there, and take stock of the advancement of significant projects for which they are responsible in SCDP.

Within this context, she met with the managers of PGS International company, in a consortium with Cameroonian company, SACIM. In SCDP, the group is in charge of supplying and installing fifteen (15) volumetric meters for liquid hydrocarbons with electronic computers at the TTS, TUS, TWLS, of the Nsam depots in Yaounde, Bessengue depot in Douala, and the Bafoussam depot. These state-of-the-art counting devices aim to strengthen control and reduce operating losses, thus guaranteeing the reliability of product movements (entries/exits).

Mrs Moampea Mbio also met with INETUM/Conseil+ company, in charge of setting up an integrated management software package (ERP) in SCDP. This most restrictive software package (SAP), responds to a global challenge of modernising operations and boosting SCDP’s performance. The first phase of the said project was successfully completed, under the constant supervision of the General Manager. Phase two, as complex as phase 1, will also benefit from the same attention.

It is worth noting that for several years now, SCDP, under the leadership of its General Manager, is dedicated to working with local businesses having the required expertise, as well as companies based in Africa, as part of the South/South cooperation. This strategic orientation of the top management is in line with its societal commitment to its partners.
